This compilation is intended primarily for my direct disciples and others who are familiar and comfortable with my stringent approach to Krishna consciousness. Many of the letters featured herein deal with grave and sensitive topics and therefore offer insights into the practical application of the teachings of Krishna consciousness in today's highly disturbed world. However, I have chosen not to include most of the polemic missives that I have written over the years regarding various contentious issues within ISKCON, as I feel that such matters require comprehensive analyses rather than decontextualized and incomplete perspectives. Nonetheless, this book is evidence that gurus in ISKCON must contend with many weighty topics and do not, as some persons seem to believe, merely bask in adulation.
Packed with realistic advice on how to practice Krishna consciousness in a complex world. With many valuable philosophical insights and perspectives of guru-disciple interactions in the age of the internet.
- Taste will come if you follow, if you don't follow, there is no hope.
- I am always praying for the welfare of my disciples and hope that they will be kind upon me also.
- Everything is possible if we stop making offences and surrender to Krishna.
- The old fashion is best rise early, chant 16 rounds, follow the 4 regulative principles, read Srila Prabhupada's books etc.
- You have written about discarding fear, yet some fear is healthy. A devotee should be afraid of Maya in the form of bad association, sinful activities or anything else that disconnects us from Krishna.
