Synopsis

Narrator Karl Hoffman acts out the human struggle between personal values and the siren of profit. He plays Carter with a tranquil voice and lots of wind for long dialogue exchanges. His capacity for high emotion works well for the young female characters. The strong male voices used for the lawyers fit the pleasing stereotype we may have of such decisive types. Some of the chapters lack continuity, a frequent wound from severe abridgment, but the production is an entertaining way to practice your Spanish.
