Hot Line (Spanish Edition) - Softcover
George Washington Caucamán, a detective of Mapuche Indian origin and a quick draw of the gun, is banished to the capital of Chile for killing the son of a general. There, he begins to investigate a case of threatening calls to a sex "hot line". Two things make the case especially disquieting: the girl of the Hot Line has just recently returned to the country and the calls are linked to the Pinochet dictatorship. Declared "nation less", Sepúlveda is one of Latin American writers with current great success with critics and readers.
