In August 1945, SOE agent Rosie Ewing heads to Paris to extricate two agents who have fallen into the hands of the Gestapo. Her plan is to locate Jacqueline, a woman who has done work for the SOE but who also has relations with the Nazis. As a collaborator, Rosie points out to her, she risks reprisal when the war is over. Rosie offers her protection if she will introduce her to her latest boyfriend, a high-ranking Nazi who has been interrogating the captured pair. Nicolette McKenzie mixes and matches French and British accents well, but German and Norwegian accents less so.
