This book attempts to outline the theoretical underpinnings of philosophy of health promotion. In doing so, it draws upon seminal work done by various experts and agencies in this field. Dr Amarjeet Singh is Professor,Community Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh,India.He has published more than 140 research articles.He has written 24 chapters in different books. He is also a co-author in 10 books.He is the editor of a book titled “Demedicalizing Women’s Health". His areas of interest include Women's Health and Health Promotion.
