About the Author:
Lani Muelrath, MA, - award-winning health educator, best-selling author of three books, inspirational speaker, and TV host - is well known for her expertise in mindful, active, vegan living. She  has been featured on CBS-TV, ABC-TV, Prevention magazine, USA Today, The Saturday Evening Post, and NSPR.

Lani has been vegetarian/vegan for 45 years and has been teaching in health and wellness for more than 40 years. Trained as a teacher, physical educator, mind/body specialist, and mindfulness meditation teacher, she has practiced mindfulness meditation for over 25 years. Lani is recognized as a pioneer in the integration of vegan living and mindfulness practice. 

Lani's approach blends plant-based nutrition with compassionate, mind/body awareness and transformational techniques from mindfulness meditation practice. Drawing on her decades of experience as a coach and teacher, she specializes in helping people transform their lives with mindfulness, healthy eating, and movement. Upon taking up a mindfulness practice, Lani overcame her own lifetime struggle with food and eating and shed 50 pounds which she has maintained easily for nearly 20 years with the tools that she teaches.

Certified in Mindfulness Meditation Instruction, Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University, Lani is a Certified Mind-Body Specialist, and Behavior Change Specialist.
