I have always been enamored by the attitudes of the NativeAmerican peoples regarding nature. And although there are many different NativeAmerican cultures with many different views on nature, there is at least onecommonality.

My fascination with Native American life and culturesubsequently led me to write a series of contemporary romance novels called theBlack Bear Brothers. I set the books on a fictitious reservation and I've evenmade up a tribe called the Kolheek so that I didn't offend anyone by "gettingit wrong." This series is a tribute to my love of Native American life andculture, and I hope readers will enjoy the stories as much as I enjoyed writingthem.
