About the Author:
Dudley 'Papa' Hall and Dee 'Daddy Dee' Hodges share at least two things in common: They are both the favorite grandpas of Sam and Ben Hall, and they both love Jesus. Actually, they have a lot more in common than that (though nothing of more importance just ask em!). They grew up within 50 miles of each other: Dee in Bainbridge, Georgia; Dudley in Abbeville, Alabama. Both migrated and settled far from the sandy soil on the banks of the Chattahoochee. Dudley married his lovely wife, Betsy (Grams), and moved west to Fort Worth, Texas, to attend seminary followed by a preaching and discipleship ministry that has impacted countless thousands. Dee moved north where he won the hand of his beautiful wife, Anne (Cappy), and reared his family in Concord, North Carolina, leading a highway construction contracting firm for most of five decades. When he is not otherwise occupied with teaching his grandkids how to shoot and drive 'Mule-Jeeps,' Dudley serves as president of Kerygma Ventures. He and Betsy now live in Grapevine, Texas. Dee is a full-time grandfather of six and part-time artist, golfer and teacher. He and Anne split their time between Concord and the mountains of Linville, North Carolina.
