About the Author:
Daniel King is a San Francisco-based writer searching for the spiciest Szechuan noodles and subtlest soup dumplings in the Bay Area. He has been a staff writer at the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, the Village Voice, and JazzTimes. He has also served as an editor at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, producing books and gallery shows about China, Japan, Korea, South and Southeast Asia, West Asia, and the Himalayas.
