About the Author:
A native of Houston, TX Bernal started writing short stories as a young girl. She received many awards for her writing abilities as a child and as an adult, among them a scholarship from the Houston Press. She received her BA in Mass Communications/Journalism from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. During her studies there, she played on the womens volleyball team, while she continued to compete in creative writing and performance competitions. During this time she was also served as the Editor for the schools newspaper, ""The Bells"". Bernal pairs her writing career with a background in Marketing and Creative Design, giving her a unique perspective and understanding of business and life. Bernal's writing inspiration stemmed from the birth of her twin daughters, Sienna and Sierra, who are the only known set of twins in the world, in which one of them is a Primordial Dwarf. Aside from being an author, Bernal is also a certified personal trainer and consultant in the fitness industry. It is Bernal's hope that others would be inspired and educated through her writings, and believes that everyone has the ability to do great things, once they allow themselves to see that 'what makes them unique, can be what makes them great'.
