About the Author:
After graduating from Abilene Christian University in 1996 with a degree in English literature, Emily taught for three years, then decided to stay home with her children, a job she gladly upheld for the following seven years. In the fall of 2005, she began writing her premier novel, The Recluse of Iffley Village, the first in a series of Meriwether Mysteries for adolescents, ages 9 to 14. Writing and publishing a novel represents the culmination of a lifelong dream for Beaver. Always an avid reader, she is delighted to share stories of her own with a new generation of young readers. Beaver, lives in Snyder, Texas where she teaches Theater Arts and continues to write.
