About the Author:

Monica Ballard has been a guide and investigator with Austin Ghost Tours since 2004. She has also written episodes and assisted with production of PBS’s only paranormal television show, Haunted Texas. She regularly blogs about her personal experiences and those of tour guests on Austin Ghost Tours’ website, www.AustinGhostTours.com. Her experiences at The Driskill Hotel were featured on the premiere episode of Bio Channel’s series, My Ghost Story, where the producers tried unsuccessfully to coax her into making the encounters seem much more frightening. This is Monica’s third book, although she has contributed to many others.
