About the Author:
When he's not writing stories Jamie Childress is an aerospace engineer who works for Boeing's "Phantom Works" research and development division. If he could go back in time, he would definitely like to meet a dinosaur. Jamie is the author of three previous Galactic Treasure Hunt books.

Jake popped up to keep from slamming into the other vehicle. The bottom of his board skipped across the top of the truck and sparks flew from the contact point. "Sorry!" he shouted to no one in particular. Then muttered to himself, "Holly jamolly, that was close."
In that same instant Scott dove down, ducking even further on his board to avoid hitting the bottom of the hover-truck that skidded above him. "Yowza!" he screamed in surprise.
When the two boys came back together on the other side of their near miss Scott yelled over to Jake. "This is crazy!"
"You're the crazy one!" laughed Jake, with adrenalin pumping through his veins.
"No, you're the crazy one!" replied Scott, laughing himself, even as they dodged yet another hover-car.
The black hover-car in front of them flew along until it came to the corner of four buildings. It suddenly turned abruptly straight down and dove for the ground far below them.
When Jake and Scott reached the same intersection they followed in its wake. "Yeehaw!" hollered Jake racing downward in a vertical dive.
"Cowabunga!" joined Scott, plunging toward the Earth with complete abandon.
Below them the black hover-car slowed and turned down a side street. It finally landed on the ground next to a square building that was much smaller than the high rises around it. The building looked old and was made of brick and stone, instead of glass and metal. A sign hung over the door that said ECO-MAX RECYCLING. There were only a couple of doors and no windows down along the bottom. Fortunately, there were some windows just below the roof a couple of stories up. It looked to Jake like an old warehouse.
"Slow down, Scott, we don't want them to see us just yet," instructed Jake.
"They're going into that building," replied Scott, seeing the Aldebrans pull Nojo out of the hover-car and march him into the warehouse.
