About the Author:

Linda Carter Lefko earned her B. S. in Education with a major in art and has continued her studies with several well-know authors. In addition to an active business of custom commission work, Linda continues to do research in many different areas, most recently, historic wall murals. An author of numerous articles on historic decorative arts, Linda has served on the board of trustees of The Historical Society of Early American Decoration.

A history and education major in college, Barbara Knickerbocker has had a lifelong interest in the historic decorative arts. Barbara is a student and painter of a variety of early American decorative arts and a member of The Historical Society of Early American Decoration and is active the work of the Society on both a local and national level.
