About the Author:
Leane R. Austin has been enthusiastically writing music, poetry, short stories, and essays since she was ten years old.
She has contributed to articles published in Spokane's "The Spokesman's Review," participated in a five-part series on Spokane's KHQ-TV, and was contributor to a reference and support book for parents with Special Care Newborns.
The author is the mother of two boys, six cats, two rats, and one dog. She is a Registered Nurse, works with high school students interested in medical careers, and loves to teach. She has spent twenty years of her life in the healing arts, and feels that the mind and spirit need healing, along with the body. Her book is exemplary of her beliefs.
