About the Author:
Howard Rubenstein is a physician and author. He was born in Chicago in 1931, received a B.A. from Carleton College in 1953, and an M.D. from the Harvard Medical School in 1957. Rubenstein's translations of Aeschylus' AGAMEMNON and Euripides' THE TROJAN WOMEN have been acclaimed. Rubenstein has written the plays BROTHERS ALL, THE GOLEM, MAN OF EARTH, and TONY AND CLEO. He has also written MACCABEE, an epic in free verse. All of Rubenstein's works are available on amazon.com.
