About the Author:

Rosemary McCarney leads the Plan International Canada team where she helped create the very important Because I am a Girl campaign. She has spent most of her career working on issues of concern to young people. A lawyer by training she has put those skills to use in about 100 countries around the world. Rosemary lives in Toronto, Ontario, with her family.
