About the Author:
Michael Gardiner's academic career took him from English Language and Literature at Oxford, to Contemporary Cultural Processes at Goldsmiths College, London and then to a Scottish Literature and Postcolonial Theory PhD at St Andrews University. His publications include The Cultural Roots of Devolution, Modern Scottish Culture and most recently From Trocchi to Trainspotting. He lives in Japan. This is his first short story collection.
