About the Author:

In 1979 as a resident of Ju Lai Ssu monastery Stuart began studying Chinese language and Buddhist philosophy.In 1982 the famous T'ai Chi Ch'uan master T.T. Liang invited Stuart to live with him at his home in Minnesota. While staying in Master Liang's home for six years, Stuart studied both T'ai Chi and Chinese langauge under Master Liang's tutelage. Since then Stuart has traveled extensively both assisting Master Liang and teaching classes himself. Stuart has also written a number of books on T'ai Chi and Toaist health practices.
