PREFACE:

This volume is the first attempt ever made to document the existence of the brewing history in Trinidad, [Las Animas County], Colorado. It was my intention to give credit where due by documenting the source for each entry and giving credit to the writers of the original material. When using quotations, I have retained the writing style and vocabulary as the original document. The page size and binding were selected to simplify the addition of supplements in the future.

Four years were spent gathering information for this book and, as a definitive source of information on brewing in Trinidad, I regret that it remains incomplete. Readers who find this book useful and informative are asked to share any new material they locate in the future. By doing so, this book can be revised and updated to become a continuing research document.
