About the Author:

Caitli­n Matthews is a writer, singer and storyteller who lives in Oxford. Since childhood, she has had an abiding love of myths and legends. She's written other popular Barefoot Books, including Tales from Celtic Lands (HC w/CD: 9781846862137) and Fireside Stories (HC: 9781846860652).
Olwyn Whelan worked as a newspaper cartoonist and as a graphic designer before becoming a full-time freelance illustrator. She aims to produce timeless and classic books that children will treasure for life. She's illustrated other Barefoot Books such as the Barefoot Book of Blessings (HC: 9781846860690) and the Barefoot Book of Pirates (HC w/CD: 9781846862373).
After receiving a Masters from New York University, Margaret Wolfson, developed a unique form of story-theater, creating performances
of dramatically performed myths, epics, legends, and fairytales in collaboration with musicians, composers, and visual artists. The Barefoot Book of Princesses is Margaret's only Barefoot project so far, and it is one of our best-sellers!
