E.W. Swanton: A Celebration of His Life and Work - Softcover
For over 70 years, E.W. Swanton described all the great cricket occasions, his knowledge and judgement making him a legend. This celebration of his life includes a selection of the many tributes paid to him, and his final interview in full. The pieces by Swanton himself include not only cricket commentary, but writings on rugby, football, golf and meamories of POW life on the Burma-Siam railway during World War II.

About the Author:
David Rayvern Allen worked with E.W. Swanton on preparing Last Over (1996), some of the material from which is included in this new book. He was, until recently, a BBC producer, and is the author or editor of over twenty books: his biography of John Arlott won the Cricket Society Jubilee Award in 1994.
