About the Author:
Philip Ardagh is a familiar sight at book festivals and events from New York to Edinburgh to Sydney. He has written several award-winning children's books, including the the Grubtown Tales series, which won the Roald Dahl Funny Prize in 2009, and the Grunts series - The Grunts All at Sea was shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. Philip was also the Booktrust Writer in-Residence in 2014.
Review:
This delightful spoof of Robin Hood and his merry men is sure to please young readers. Geared to a slightly younger audience than the authors Eddie Dickens trilogy (Henry Holt & Company), this rip-roaring tale recounts the adventures of young Tom Dashwoo --Library Media Connection
