In Ender's Game, Ender Wiggins triumphed over an alien race that aimed to destroy the earth. But Ender was not the only brilliant boy in the Battle School. Ender's Shadow told the tale of another precocious general, Bean, who became Ender's strategist and friend. Now in Shadow of the Hegemon, Bean becomes the tactical genius who wins the earth for Ender's brother, Peter, the Hegemon.
