About the Author:
Derek Matthews was born in 1950 and studied Graphic Design at the Kingston School of Art, now Kingston University. He has worked as a packaging designer, graphic designer and an artist for an animation studio. Derek’s Happy Snappy® series has become a best-seller, with over 3 million copies sold worldwide to date. He lives in Surrey, U.K.
Beth Harwood graduated from the University of Derby in 1999 with a degree in Experience of Writing with Film and Television Studies. She has written a number of books, including many of the titles in the Snappy Sounds series. Harwood has been involved as an editor and author on the Amazing Baby® series, including i love you—winner of the Booktrust Early Years Baby Book award 2004. Harwood’s other titles for the Amazing Baby™ range have been the Changing Pictures books: picture pairs!, spots and dots!, mummy, baby! and lost and found!, as well as the amazing baby® flash cards. She lives in Surrey, U.K
