About the Author:

Writer and editor Anita Reid specializes in medical and scientific publishing and has worked for a number of publications including Pulse, The Practitioner, Nursing and Medicine International. Anita is a former managing editor of Medicine North America. Dr Peter Howarth is a Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Southampton and Honarary Consultant Physician at Southampton General Hospital.
