"We want somebody to bake and wash and clean." Part of the Little Grey Rabbit series, this 1947 tale has a good bit of wartime verve to it. We won't spoil the ending for you but it involves a rescue that is really quite thrilling for a small forest creature (and for readers and listeners up to 8).
