About the Author:

SUSAN QUINN was born in Manchester but has travelled the world: by way of South Africa and Sydney. She became a children s librarian at 23 and then moved back to England. Susan s experiences as a mother and playing in a meadow full of bluebells as a child inspired her to write Little Bear and the Butterflies. CAROLINE PEDLER grew up in Cornwall but moved to Portsmouth, Bristol and Bath for 13 years before returning to her hometown in 2005. Her career started when she was commissioned by Hallmarks Cards UK in 1997, her career has since gone from strength to strength. Caroline has illustrated with a variety of different children publishers, including QED, and her books can be found worldwide and in over 10 languages.

Susan Quinn became a children’s librarian at 23 years old. Her experiences as a mother and as a child playing in a meadow full of bluebells inspired her to write Little Bear and the Butterflies. She lives in London. Illustrator and artist Caroline Pedler has been working on children’s books since 1999 and her work has been published worldwide. The illustrator of over 40 books for children, she lives in Cornwall, U.K.
