The Agony Aunt is the dreaded witch doctor who wants three things from around Nisa’s village. She wants Alice’s father to pay his debts, she wants to get hold of their man eating leopard and she wants revenge on the dragleon. She will stop at nothing to get what she wants and sets in motion a chain of events that pits her own dark magic against the magic of the dragleon.

Alice’s father soon finds out the terrible price he must pay for trying to cheat the Agony Aunt. She has the hyena clan under her control and commands them to go about wreaking fear and havoc in the forest.

The dragleon and Nisa remain blissfully unaware of the dark forces they’re up against. The dragleon gets caught in a snare but escapes. While the cowering hyenas hide from their bullying queen, they hear a child crying as she has been caught in the snare. But unexpected help comes to the rescue and the dragleon uses her powers to save the day.

Nathi makes a wheelchair for a boy and it turns out he is ‘owned’ by the Agony Aunt who finally escapes her clutches with his new-found mobility. Nisa’s village is up in arms about all the poaching that had been initiated by the Agony Aunt but she is once again thwarted in her plans to catch that man-eating leopard.

The thorn boma blossoms, attracting swarms of bees that bring the village a bumper crop of honey, no thanks to a ram-raiding honey badger. The villagers hold a festival in celebration of the dragleon. Everyone is having a good time including those from the Agony Aunt’s village.

But they are unaware of the heinous plan that the Agony Aunt has in store for them. This time her revenge will put paid once and for all the villagers and their beloved dragleon who have time and time again ruined her best laid plans.

But what about Nisa’s snake turned spitting cobra?

About the Author:
Guy Waddilove was born and raised and just about educated in the beautiful town of Ilkley in the Yorkshire Dales. He studied for a BSc Modular degree and later took a post-graduate diploma in Careers Guidance from the University of East London. After several years advising on employment, careers and confidence building, and when several close friends and family died in sadly rapid succession, he found what was really important in his life was to achieve some of his ambitions. His passion in life was wildlife and the natural world, with a side order of ancient history, so he travelled the world extensively to witness many of the world’s natural and man-made wonders and what was left of both. He finally decided to make himself useful to the conservation cause and volunteered as a Keeper in a well known zoo where he has now been with them for well over six years.
