What happens when a person doesn’t believe in any limitations? An internationally renowned professional cyclist, Leah Goldstein has raced towards finish lines all her life. Her life lessons however extend beyond her achievements on a bike―from a young World Kickboxing Champion, to a trainer of elite Israeli soldiers including the commandos; from breaking glass ceilings by entering Israel’s Undercover Police Unit to breaking records as a professional athlete.
Having faced fear many times, Goldstein has learnt that no matter how genuine the actual danger we confront may be, we have two choices: fight or flight. Yet, some of us have fallen into a third, much more dangerous category, by simply freezing. We do nothing, and therefore risk neither failure nor success. Full of tragedies and triumphs, crashes and podiums, Leah Goldstein’s life has been a long series of fights and even a few flights. Her fascinating story is not about being fearless but about being unstoppable.

Leah Goldstein is an internationally renowned athlete and speaker, who dares to push people past their perceived limits to start living.
As a teenager she was a Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing champion. She then served in the Israeli Military, training Elite Commandos and perfecting the art of pushing past physical limits. Leah then fought her way into a male-only special-ops police course and eventually into Israel’s Undercover Police Unit.
The strain of anti-terrorist missions and confronting other violent crimes took its toll and Leah found her salvation on a bike. Training tirelessly, she earned victories all over North America. A 2005 crash almost took her life, but she fought back by not only returning to professional cycling, but completing the most successful year of her career. Another crash in 2010 accelerated her decision to retire from the circuit. Switching to ultra-distance cycling, she had an undefeated, record breaking 3-year stint, including a victory in the world’s toughest bike race—Race Across America.
Today Leah shares her story and the lessons she has learned. Through discrimination, self-doubt and missteps, she shows how astonishing achievements can be reached, one unflinching goal at a time.
