Synopsis

Long-time friends Wolf and Peter rush off to their favourite fishing haunts, laden down with their tackle, reels, and waders. The weather is hot. They trudge through heavy bush and chest-high weeds to reach first one stream and then another; they share old memories and stories of where they had hooked speckled trout. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Retired from the Federal Public Service in Ottawa, Wolfram Leibbrandt lives with his wife, Betty, in Gatineau (Aylmer), Québec, where they have resided for about forty years. Since his teen years, he has travelled to a friend s cottage and practiced the art of angling for trout. An avid fisherman, he has also tried his luck on numerous backwoods waterways. But as his three children can attest, the fishing hasn't always been easy. In between pitching that line, he has managed to write his first book.
