About the Author:
Robert L. Shapiro is a partner at the Los Angeles law firm of Glaser Weil Fink Howard Avchen & Shapiro LLP. He lives in Southern California with his wife, Linell, and his son, Grant. Mr. Shapiro's other son, Brent, passed away from drug disease in 2005. The Shapiros started the Brent Shapiro Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Awareness to use his legacy to save other lives.
