From AudioFile:
This short work, written by the former speaker of the House of Representatives and narrated jointly by him and his wife, argues against a purely secular interpretation of our nation's founding and history. They do this by taking a tour of the nation's capital and pointing out references to God in the writings of the Founders and on many of the buildings of Washington, DC. This work will probably not change many minds, but it does have some interesting points to make. Mr. Gingrich is a polished and experienced speaker who gives this production an easygoing and confident reading that is quite easy to follow. Mrs. Gingrich is not so polished, but she quickly warms up to the text. M.T.F. © AudioFile 2008, Portland, Maine-- Copyright © AudioFile, Portland, Maine
