Young Aurelia, age 14, can't wait to be an adult. And then she comes upon Seavus, a fairy, who claims he can grant her wish. Soon, whenever life throws her difficulties, she wishes for time to race by—but is it the magic of Seavus that is making life speed by, or is Aurelia herself responsible? A play about looking forward—and learning to love right where you are. 55-60 minutes. 3-4 males, 2-3 females (5-7 performers possible). Ideal for elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, youth theatres, universities, and community theatres. Review:
Reviewed by Anne B. for Readers Favorite
"Aurelia's Magic" is a delightful fairy tale. Bolen demonstrates that he knows much about human nature...a master at characterization. The plot will thrill readers and the message is one we should all heed. This is the first book I have read by Bolen. I hope it won't be the last. FIVE STARS.

MIDWEST BOOK REVIEW: "Aurelia's Magic" is a fine youth fable with a strong message, well worth considering.
