About the Author:

Sam Blackman is associate sports information director at Clemson University. Blackman has worked extensively publicizing the school’s nineteen sports by writing and editing brochures and news releases. Blackman received a BS degree in parks, recreation, and tourism management in 1985 and a master’s of education degree in counseling in 1987.

Bob Bradley served as Clemson’s Sports Information Director (SID) for thirty-five years (1955–89) and still helps the Clemson SID office on a daily basis. He has seen countless athletic events, including nearly 500 consecutive Clemson football games. In November of 1988, the press box at Clemson Memorial Stadium was named Bob Bradley Press Box.

Chuck Kriese coached the Clemson men’s tennis team from 1975–2008. He ended his career as the ACC’s winningest coach, led the Tigers to ten ACC championships, and has 685 wins.

Will Vandervort is an award-winning sportswriter who has covered the NFL and Division I college football, basketball, and baseball for nearly a decade. A veteran of 16 years, Vandervort worked for newspapers in Georgia and South Carolina before moving on to online reporting, where he currently works as the senior writer for The Clemson Insider.com. A native of South Carolina, Vandervort has covered Clemson University Athletics for nearly a decade.
