About the Author:

John Piper (DTheol, University of Munich) is pastor for preaching and vision at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis. He is the author of more than 30 books including Desiring God, Don't Waste Your Life, This Momentary Marriage, and Spectacular Sins.

David Mathis (MDiv, Reformed Theological Seminary Orlando) is an elder at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis and executive pastoral assistant to John Piper. He is married to Megan, and they have twin sons, Carson and Cole.
