It’s fairly challenging stuff, but the information is metered out so efficiently that patience, not artistic ability, will be the key to success. “Believable Backdrops” is the best chapter for getting the biggest wow-factor from the least amount of labor. But there are plenty of other projects here, too: poster-board wands, tissue-paper bouquets, tinfoil cutlasses, and plenty of set pieces starring the cardboard box.
