About the Author:
The author A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is the founder Acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness,[ISKCON]. He has translated and written over 30 books on the science of Bhakti Yoga. Prabhupada's books have sold over 60 million copies in the UK alone, over 200 million in the USA, and much more than that in India, and again world wide, where his books have been translated into the 2nd highest number of languages, after the bible, through the work of his disciples, publishing house and possibly 1000 temples. He opened temples all around the world, before he left his body in 1977,and introduced the world to God Consciousness as recommended by Krishna himself in the Bhagavad Gita.
