Book Description Hardcover. Condition: New. Nicolas Delort (illustrator). 1st Edition. New, and pristine. See scans and description. First Printing. Philadelphia: Quill Books, 2014. "William Shakespeare's The Empire Striketh Back. Star Wars Part the Fifth", by Ian Doescher. All illustrations by Nicolas Delort. Octavo, jacket illustrated by Delort, eye-fooling brown boards (see why below) with lighter brown imprinting at front cover and spine, floral patterned green endpapers, 176 pp. New, pristine, and flawless; the creators have injected a little additional humor in the design of the brown boards, making them look like a worn antiquarian book to the mid-distance eye - nicked, scuffed and and abraded - but in fact nothing you see on this example is anything but intentional flush imagery. Even the spine, on which they outdid themselves in that regard (scan), is not what it appears to be. There are no nicks, scuffs or abrasions. Zoom on scans. A virginal 1st printing example of the second title in Doescher's "William Shakespeare's Star Wars Trilogy" (in order, 'Verily, a New Hope' (2013),' The Empire Striketh Back (2014), and 'The Jedi Doth Return (2014)', an amusing presentation of George Lucas's original Star Wars film trilogy (1977?1983). These were followed by 'The Prequel Trilogy' ('The Phantom of Menace: Star Wars Part the First'; 'The Clone Army Attacketh: Star Wars Part the Second'; and 'Tragedy of the Sith's Revenge: Star Wars Part the Third'), those being all in 2015; and, in 2017, the first title in 'The Sequel Trilogy', that being 'The Force Doth Awaken: Star Wars Part the Seventh'. A handsome example, on premises in sealed storage, which will ship in a new, sturdy, protective box - not a bag. L71. Seller Inventory # 62826
