About the Author:

Kathleen M. Hollenbeck discovered her love for writing in grade school. From then on, she wrote as often as possible, keeping journals, writing poetry, and creating stories that were illustrated by her twin sister, Eileen. Kathleen turned her hobby into a livelihood in 1984 when she joined the staff of Weekly Reader. She now lives in Coventry, Rhode Island, with her husband, Alan, and their children, Alexandra, Kyle, and Kelsie.
