Dream On: Prose and Poetry - Softcover
Robert L. Laumeyer was born in 1932 in Wolf Point, Montana. He was raised in Valley County, Montana, on a farm and ranch without running water, electricity, or a telephone. He learned poetry from nursery rhymes and "78" records played on a windup phonograph. His first four years of school took place in a one-room country school. Robert attended grades 5-12 in Nashua, Montana, and college at Northern Montana College in Havre, Montana. He earned his B.A. and Masters Degree from the University of Montana and did post-graduate work at A.S.U. (Arizona State.) He started his 35-year teaching career in a one-room school. The last 17 years he was in education, he served as the Superintendent of Boulder Public Schools in Boulder, Montana. Now retired, he lives in Montana in the summer and in Sun City, Arizona, in the winter.
