harvey H. Kaiser, Ph.D, has spent fifteen years researching the historic architectire of the western national parks. He is the author of An Architecturak Guidebook to the National Parks: California, Oregon, Washington; Great Camps of the Adirondacks; and Landmarks in the Landscape. He has lectured widely on rustic architecture in wilderness environments. He lives in Syracuse, New York.
