Karen Berger, co-author of A Woman's decision: Breast Care, Treatment and reconstruction, is a respected medical writer and publisher who has spent the last 15 years interviewing and surveying women with breast cancer and has lectured widely on women's health, breast cancer, doctor-patient communications and breast reconstruction issues.

Karen is a speaker for the American Cancer Society and has worked extensively with breast cancer support groups throughout th country.
