Grade 2-6-While superficially attractive, this is not suitable for reference use and is inferior to the National Geographic World Atlas for Young Explorers. The explanatory material is not as clearly presented and the maps are cluttered with small illustrations of people in ethnic costume, wildlife, natural resources, points of interest, industry, etc. These pictures obscure the maps and interfere with the clear labeling of features and places.-SD
