The poets, who have cemented their musings in the tiers and slopes of this work, are wishing to borrow your attention for a single moment to share with you their reflections and meditations on existence. The walls of this garage are thick with the stuff of dreams. If you run your hand along it you touch thousands of lives. The sand you brush from your fingertips is the sentiment of many nations united in a single aim - to build with words a forgotten lore, poetry. Poetry is a construction of organized thoughts. As such, the metaphor for our garage can be elevated to another level; a gathering place for thoughts. Since the word \"thought\" can be somewhat elusive, I ask your permission to place an associative image with the word. Thoughts are sometimes considered meaningless without a vehicle, and a garage is a house for vehicles. Thus a poem, if you will, is a vehicle for thoughts and communication.
