Andrea and Sara Forman were born to American Catholic parents. At age nine, Andrea, the elder, borrowed her mother’s Vedic texts, written in Sanskrit, and began reading and, to the amazement of all, comprehending them. Sanskrit scholars verified a 95 percent accuracy rate in Andrea’s Sanskrit. Soon her younger sister also evinced a startling knowledge of the language. Dreaming in Realtime is their mother Linda Forman’s account of this miracle tale as it unfolded. The story is the saga of an ordinary American family faced with extraordinary happenings, and how it nurtured an amazing gift. The girls sing and perform today as the musical duo Shanti Shanti, bringing this ancient language and its healing powers on the mind, body, and spirit to audiences nationwide. This edition includes a companion music CD.
