About the Author:
Charles L. Cadieux is former president of the Outdoor Writers Association of America. He is the author of eleven books, and more than a thousand magazine articles.
From Library Journal:
Cadieux, a former recreational vehicle (RV) tour guide and aficionado, claims that he drives an RV because of the freedom it affords. This work offers bits of history, personal anecdotes, trivia, and advice from Cadieux's 11 RV trips throughout the Pacific Northwest, the Southwest, Alaska, parts of Canada and Mexico, Louisiana, and Florida. The book is a personal testimonial to the pleasures of RVing, with information on how to choose a vehicle, where to camp, how to arrange meals, and dealing with sleeping, mail, repairs, storage, and other challenges of RV living. The book is filled with names, addresses, and phone numbers of campsites from the areas Cadieux visited, as well as suggested additional readings. Of regional interest, and appropriate for public libraries where RVing is popular.
