About the Author:
Born and raised in a small LDS ccommunity in Idaho, David J. Hawks attended Ricks College and served and LDS mission in Italy. Early in his life, he developed a love for reading and has studied many authors works. He also has a love of the outdoors and has experienced first-hand much of what he writes about. David is a very active person, enjoying such things as camping, hiking, and horseback riding as well as community service and working with youth. He has served in the Army National Guard, and has spent much of his life working inthe outdoors for the Forest Service, the Idaho Fish & Game Department, and on his family's ranch in Idaho, where he is currently living.
