About the Author:

Marie Savage lives in a small town big on used book stores, Sidney, British Columbia. She was raised in Chateauguay, Quebec, just south of Montreal near the Kahnawake Indian Reserve. Watching baseball is her first love though traveling runs a close second. She married her husband for his season's tickets to the Toronto Blue Jays. It worked out well. Seventeen years later, all three of their children have played on baseball teams for Little League of Canada and other organizations. Marie's work has been published in newspapers and magazines across Canada.
