About the Author:

Debbie Bailey has a B.A. in Early Childhood Education, a B.Ed., and an M.A. in Applied Psychology. Her interest in board books developed when she began reading to her daughter. Debbie teaches kindergarten.

Sue Huszar has worked as a professional photographer for over 20 years. She started out as a photojournalist but went on to establish her own studio.

The children, photographed along with mothers, hats and shoes of great and cheerful variety, are unselfconscious, and Debbie Bailey's text matches them in matter-of-fact ness:... The "Talk-About Books" have been designed with great care for the children who will see them. Pages are easy to turn, illustrations are large and framed with primary colours, the few words are carefully chosen and clearly laid out. Highly recommended for children three and under.
